Chef Ian Curley moved to Australia from the UK in 1988 after honing his skills in classical cuisine in London’s finest restaurants. After gaining renown whilst working at the Point restaurant in Albert Park, Curley became Executive Chef at the European group of restaurants, encompassing seven different venues and five kitchens including the namesake European and the Supper Club. Curley does a radio spot twice a week on 3MP talking about food and has appeared on television shows such as The Circle, MasterChef and hosted his own reality show, Conviction Kitchen, which taught recently released prisoners skills to enable a new start in life.
Curley is a passionate supporter of many charities and a proud ambassador for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Curley is also a shocking dancer, a golf tragic, ‘a nuisance partner’ – his words – to Simone and ‘fabulous father’ to Cooper and Cassidy.
