Richard Butler – The Fiddler - 10 February 2010
After losing his long time partner to ovarian cancer in 2009, Lead singer of “Uncle Arthur” Richard Butler and his bandmates fronted a NYE Concert in Queensland in support of ovarian cancer research. The success of this community initiative prompted the Queenslander to organise another fundraiser February of 2010.

As told by the Kili crew... 2 years ago Sasha’s mum passed away from an ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed just 9 months earlier. It is very hard to want a person you love dying and not being able to help.
Breakfast for Ovarian Cancer - 20 February 2010
Her mother’s fight with ovarian cancer prompted Linda Moussa to host her own fundraiser to help raise awareness and much needed support for ovarian cancer research.
