10,000 for 10 Years - 1 January 2010
To mark the 10 year anniversary of their mother and pay tribute to her, three OCRF supporters are to embark on an annual fundraiser in support of ovarian cancer research.
10,000 for 10 Years hopes to raise $10,000 through a variety of fundraisers scheduled throughout 2010, including a chocolate drive, shopping tour, trivia night and finally a official gala to bring together all the guests apart of the yearly campaign.
Brendan Underwood – Mt Kilimanjaro - 12 January 2010
In 2009 the OCRF had the pleasure of working with Brendan Underwood, host to Pauline’s Dinner which raised over $8000 towards ovarian cancer research.
In January 2010, Brendan made his way to Africa , Tanzania to climb Mt Kilimanjaro– one of the worlds highest mountains and fourth highest of the Seven Summits. It is considered the tallest freestanding mountain in the world, rising 15,100 feet (4,600 meters) from base to summit.
